RushPick Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
RushPick keeps your shop's orders and receipt images on your device; the only data that leaves it is what Google's advertising service collects to show ads.
This policy explains what the RushPick mobile app for Android and iOS ("RushPick", "the app") handles, why, and the choices you have. RushPick is developed by Md Nur Uddin Sabuj ("we", "us").
RushPick helps shops pick and pack orders: you scan or type orders, the app combines them into a picking list, and you mark each order ready. It has no user accounts and no RushPick servers.
Information stored on your device
Everything you enter in RushPick is saved only in the app's private storage on your phone or tablet. We never receive it, and it is not synced to any server.
| What | Examples | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Shop details | Shop name, business type, currency, language | To set up the app for your shop |
| Product catalog | Product names, aliases, sizes, shelf locations | To match receipt lines to your products |
| Orders | Order number, customer name, items, quantities, notes, picking status | To build picking lists and track orders |
| Receipt images | Photos you take or import of receipts | To read the order and let you check it |
| App settings | Matching thresholds, language, haptics | To remember your preferences |
Receipts can include a customer's name. As the shop using RushPick, you decide what goes into the app and are responsible for handling your customers' information lawfully.
Camera, photos and receipt reading
RushPick asks for camera and photo library access only so you can capture or import receipts. You can refuse either permission and still enter orders by hand.
- Camera: used only while you are on the receipt capture screen.
- Photo library: you pick individual images with the system photo picker; the app cannot browse the rest of your library.
- Receipt reading (OCR): text is read on your device by Google ML Kit (Android) or Apple Vision (iOS). Receipt images are not uploaded for this. On Android, Google Play services may download the text-recognition model to your device once.
Advertising
RushPick is free and shows ads from Google AdMob: a banner on the main screens and, at most once an hour, a full-screen ad at a natural break. Google, not us, collects the data below to show and measure these ads.
- Advertising ID (Android) and device and app information, such as model, operating system and app version
- IP address, from which Google estimates your approximate location
- Ad interactions, such as ads viewed and tapped, and diagnostics
The orders, customers, products and receipt images you keep in RushPick are never shared with Google or any advertiser.
Your consent. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the app shows Google's consent form before any ads load. If you don't consent, ads are not shown. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices.
Limiting ad tracking. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. On iOS, RushPick does not ask to track you across other companies' apps, so ads are not based on that tracking.
Google's use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Sharing and backups
We do not sell, rent or share your information, and we have no access to it. Data leaves your device only when you send it yourself:
- Export backup: Settings → Export JSON backup creates a copy of your app data and opens your device's share sheet. Where it goes (email, a file, another app) is your choice, and that service's own privacy terms apply.
- Device backups: your phone's own backup service (Google or iCloud) may include app data, under the terms you agreed with that provider.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your data stays on your device until you delete it. Completed and cancelled orders remain in the app's History.
- Settings → Reset database permanently deletes your shop, products, orders and settings. Saved receipt images stay in the app's storage until you uninstall the app.
- Uninstalling RushPick removes all of its data from your device, including receipt images.
Data that Google collects for ads is kept under Google's own retention rules; see the Google links in the Advertising section.
Your rights, children and security
Your rights. Depending on where you live (for example under the EU and UK GDPR), you can access, correct, delete or object to the use of your personal data. App data is in your hands: you can view, edit, export and delete it in the app. For ad data, use Settings → Ad privacy choices or contact Google. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Legal basis (EEA/UK). App data is processed on your device to provide the service you use. Ads that use personal data rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Children. RushPick is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly process children's data.
Security. App data is kept in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot read. Protect your device with a screen lock, since anyone who can unlock it can open RushPick.
Changes and contact
If we change how RushPick handles data, we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's store listing.
