Voice Notes turns what you say into tasks. It is built so that your voice and your tasks stay on your iPhone. This policy explains what the app does with your information.
We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal data ourselves. The app has no account, no server of its own, and no analytics. Your voice and tasks never leave your device. The app shows ads provided by Google — see "Advertising" below.
The app asks for microphone and speech recognition access so it can hear what you say and turn it into text. Speech is transcribed on your device using Apple's on-device speech recognition. Your recordings and transcripts are not sent to us or to any third party. You can choose in Settings to delete recordings after they are processed.
Tasks, dates, and related information are stored only in a database on your device. We cannot see them. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No notification content passes through any server.
In Settings you can export all your data as a file you control, or permanently delete all data from the app.
The app shows banner and full-screen ads using the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and the UK), the app asks for your consent before ads are requested, and you can change your choice at any time from "Ad privacy choices" in Settings.
The SDK may collect device ID, coarse location, advertising data, product interaction, crash data, performance data, and other diagnostic data. Google uses this data to show and measure ads and for analytics; it does not include your voice recordings or your tasks. The app does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, so ads are not personalized using your device's advertising identifier. Any in-app purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details.
The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
If a future version changes how data is handled, we will update this page and the date above before that version is released.
